Drawing on details from interviews conducted by Merry and her research assistants, explain what you think she means when she says subjectivities are produced through encounters with the legal system.

Y On Tuesday…

Hi everyone,

I’ve been selected for jury duty on a trial that will begin on Tuesday. Because the courthouse typically closes between 4-4:30, I don’t think this will impact our class Tuesday evening. But just in case, I would like to push back our start time. We will begin at 6:30 instead of 6pm.

See you Tuesday,

Elizabeth

Hi everyone,

In response to a question asked about the notes you can bring to class on Tuesday, you can bring in one page of handwritten notes. You may use both sides of the paper. Please make sure your notes are handwritten and do not include quotes.

If you are looking for all of the information posted about the midterm exam on our WordPress site, I have tagged everything I have written so that it will appear under “Outline” in “Week 08.”
